During the recent outbreak of COVID-19 in the USA and Governor Wolf’s Stay at Home order, our Library will be closed through April 5th, pending further notification. It is our utmost priority to keep our patrons and staff safe during this time of social distancing. We have decided to cancel our programs through April 12th pending further notification as well.
We are fortunate in our library system to have access to many wonderful online materials in the form of databases, magazines, and books. Please download the CCLS app on your phone to access these materials which can also be accessed on the CCLS website, www.ccls.org. Go to Overdrive for a large selection of electronic materials. In this way you can continue your use and support of the library.
Please do not return materials to the library during this crisis. Our bookdrop will overflow. Any materials left outside the drop are subject to fines and fees as they are not secure. No staff is onsite during this time. All fines and fees for materials during this crisis will be waived.
I urge all of you to stay safe, stay well. Our healthcare workers depend on your cooperation as they battle this virus on our behalf. We look forward to the time that we can reopen and begin serving you once again. We all look forward to life returning to normal.
